Located on the third floor of Jail Hill Inn, Suite 302 once contained a block of six jail cells for prisoners. The original cement floor, which was a security measure so prisoners could not escape, now functions as a fireplace hearth. This suite features gorgeous natural light from seven windows that look out three sides of the building, with views of downtown Galena, the surrounding countryside, and onto the back deck and courtyard of the property.
Suite 302’s relaxing atmosphere, complete with Spanish-style and mid-century modern touches, makes it easy for guests to forget the outside world and immerse into their getaway. Guests of this suite marvel at the KOHLER® bathroom’s stunning ceiling tub filler.

We rented the entire inn for our very special celebration with our children and spouses and 2 dear friends. Innkeeper Matthew Carroll and his marvelous, hardworking, and meticulous staff saw to our every request. The Bed and Breakfast is magnificent, exquisitely appointed, and an oasis of comfort. Every detail is perfect, the breakfast and wine hour are fabulous. Ten stars for this establishment, the BEST in Galena!
